About the job: Adventist Media is seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Director to join their team who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of audio-visual productions ensuring they are completed successfully and meet quality standards in the creation of audio-visual experiences that have a lasting impact.


About the company: Adventist Media serves the South Pacific Division that operates in the South Pacific nations of Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the islands in the region by providing a structured framework to facilitate an integrated strategy and collaborative effort in producing church media across its operations in Wahroonga and Warburton. Role and responsibilities: You will be managing the department and its budget; supervising and developing the AV staff; meeting with clients to oversee project budgets and schedules; collaborating with the Video Producer on creative direction, ensuring projects stay on time and on budget and reporting progress to the Executive Producer. Additionally, you will oversee project administration; develop a network of filmmakers; and facilitate collaborative opportunities within the organisation to enhance film-making and technical expertise.


About you: You hold relevant formal education qualifications or equivalent experience in screen, video, film, or media production; possess technical expertise in television production processes and editing software; demonstrate advanced problem-solving and project management skills; have an understanding of Seventh-day Adventist beliefs; exhibits strong communication and relationship-building abilities; showcase budgeting and financial management skills; and demonstrate attention to detail with a methodical approach to work.
