About the role

Applications are invited from experienced and skilled Assistants in Nursing to join our dynamic team. You will be a part of a highly dedicated team that provides the best patient-centred care for our Older Persons Mental Health (OPMH) patients.

This opportunity will be in our OPMH ward located at Greenwich Hospital, as well as at Neringah Hospital in Wahroonga. We offer applicants a stimulating workplace and a supportive team environment within the unit. Our staff are valued members of the multi-disciplinary team and are encouraged to participate in all learning and development activities.


About you

  • Second-year student in Bachelor of Nursing with a desire to work in a mental health ward with at least six months relevant experience.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
