About the Role:


Our current Head of Boarding is away and we are looking for someone to assist with managing the Boarding House, ensuring a smooth and comfortable boarding experience for our students.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Boarding House in the absence of the Head of Boarding: Ensure a calm and orderly atmosphere in the boarding house.
  • Provide Support & Assistance: Be available to address any student needs or concerns during evening hours.
  • Maintain a Safe & Positive Environment: Contribute to a positive and supportive living environment for boarding students.

Hours of Work:

  • Saturdays: 4:00pm - 11:00pm (with sleepover)
  • Sundays: 8:00am - 6:00pm


The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working with young people is essential, preferably in a boarding or residential setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and situations
  • A current First Aid certificate
  • Completed the ABSA Duty of Care training course (beneficial)
