About BaptistCare Dorothy Henderson Lodge
Dorothy Henderson Lodge offers 66 single rooms for residents, along with 14 secure rooms specifically designed for those needing a higher level of dementia support. Each room features an en-suite, large built-in wardrobes, and easy access to communal areas.
About the Role
Dorothy Henderson Lodge is seeking Casual Carers who are flexible with their working roster. As a Carer, you'll form meaningful connections with residents, supporting their choices, preferences, and needs throughout your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care in alignment with individualized care plans
- Assist with medication administration
- Perform simple wound dressings
- Support residents with activities under supervision Help residents continue engaging in activities they love
We are actively seeking casual staff to join our team!
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Care Service Employee (preferred)
- Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others Certificate III in Individual Support Strongly desired
