About the Opportunity:
We are recruiting full-time, part-time, and casual Catering Assistants for a brand-new, state-of-the-art aged care facility (St Nicholas Seniors Care Centre) in Punchbowl. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate and motivated individuals to join our Residential Care team, to support the Inner West region in general and the Antiochian Orthodox community in particular.
Catering Assistant requires a hands-on approach to the food service delivery in the kitchen, resident's room, dining room, cafe, and various areas including snack and beverage stations as well as cleaning duties, whilst ensuring food safety standards and safety procedures are adhered to. Catering Assistant will be required to assist in the kitchen with dishwashing, cleaning, food preparation, and other duties as required. Knowledge of allergens, therapeutic diets, and infection control procedures is essential.
