We began because of people who saw a need in the community and who were compelled to make a difference. People motivated by Christian love and a passion to serve. If this describes you, we would love to invite you to join us!

Community Chaplain - Anglicare & St. Mark’s Anglican Church Sadleir

The congregation of St. Mark’s Sadleir has been sharing the hope of Jesus with the people of Sadleir, Miller, Ashcroft, Busby, and Heckenberg for the last 60 years. It is a context in which pain and loss are experienced frequently by members of the local community. We long to see all people united by the hope of Jesus, because that hope is life saving for the lost and life changing for the found. Learn more about St Marks and its ministry here.

The congregation are very thankful for a long-term partnership with Anglicare in caring for local community members facing significant challenges and disadvantages. Relational, social, financial, physical and mental health issues are prevalent, as our alcohol and substance abuse. St. Mark’s members are excited to partner together with Anglicare to enhance our ability to bring the hope of Jesus to people in need.

About the role:
