About the role


Working collaboratively with churches, schools and volunteers, you will be responsible for leading the local delivery of SU ministry through training, coaching and leading both staff and volunteers in ministry opportunities within your district. You will also be responsible for growing SU ministry in the geographical area by establishing new camps and programs, and coaching event directors and volunteers.


This role covers areas in Greater Sydney and the surrounding towns and communities. Please note this role is based out of a home office with frequent travel expected. You will need to be based in the area due to the leadership and networking responsibilities of the role.

Our ideal candidate will have:



  • A broad understanding of Christian youth and children’s ministry

  • A minimum 3 years’ experience leading a team preferably within a not-for profit environment

  • Demonstrated ability to network, build partnerships and strategic alliances with a broad range of people

  • Tertiary qualifications in youth work, leadership, business or related field

  • Experience and involvement in community fundraising and involvement within the Education sector is desirable

  • Driver’s license essential
