The Head Dive Coach and Coordinator is a permanent, part-time (0.8 FTE) position, responsible for leading a dedicated team of aquatic dive coaches who strive to develop and build a strong representative club at all competition levels.
The incumbent will work in conjunction with the Aquatics Manager to deliver a quality competition program in diving. Bringing a specialised skill set, the Head Dive Coach will coach, mentor and develop the coaching team to achieve high levels of performance, with results focused on State and National qualifications and representation.
About You
With experience in a similar role, the ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge and experience of dive program management and implementation, club development, and mentoring new coaches.
You will also be competent in planning, coaching, and training diving students at all levels including all squads.
This role is a great blend of coaching diving students, mentoring and leading coaches, with a minor component of administrative functions.
