The Role

Are you passionate about the impact of Business and Commerce on shaping the next generation? PLC invites visionary leaders to join our school in 2025 as Head of Business Studies.

This role offers a full-time, permanent teaching appointment and a 5-year fixed term Position of Responsibility as Head of Business Studies.

As the Head of Business Studies, you will lead our educational mission by shaping the Business Studies curriculum across Years 9 to 12, including VCE and IB programs. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in advancing curriculum development, refining teaching practices, and inspiring both students and staff to reach their full potential.

About You

Known as a leader and mentor, you are a contemporary and forward-thinking educator who thrives in working in a high performing school culture.

You will ideally have a background in Economics and Accounting, and can confidently lead a Department encompassing these two methods, plus Business Management, Legal Studies, Commerce and Politics.

You will represent a positive role model for young women, be able to relate well to students, colleagues and parents, and be committed to the integrity and Christian ethos of the College.
