The Heart of the Role

The Head of Coaching Performance is responsible for collaborating with leadership and coaches to design and oversee a coaching curriculum across all campuses, recruit and hire staff, and develop professional development and performance review frameworks. They ensure coaches align with College values, AAGPS bylaws and the Code of Conduct, oversee team selection policies, and conduct coaching workshops. Responsibilities include stakeholder collaboration, educational program development, and managing resources to support the College’s mission.

Who are you?

  • You have a Bachelor of Education Degree and ideally a Master of Educational Leadership or, a significant experience and a proven track record of leading whole school initiatives to improve student outcomes.
  • You will have demonstrated an understanding of school improvement through the analysis of data.
  • You have outstanding organisational skills with the proven ability to work within tight timeframes and capacity to effectively manage multiple projects.
  • You will have demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, school organisation policy and procedures.
  • You will have demonstrated commitment to nurturing positive relationships between students, staff and external stakeholders.
  • You have or can obtain a valid working with children check.
  • You are committed to ongoing learning in alignment with the development directions of The Scots College.
  • You are characterised by purpose, persistence and reflection.
  • You are committed to growth and progressively attain goals through curiosity and asking key questions.
