Campbelltown Anglican Schools (CAS).

Campbelltown Anglican Schools Council delivers Christian Education to 1,800 students from the
Macarthur community through St Peter’s Anglican Grammar, St Peter’s Heart, and Broughton Anglican
College.

Position / Duties Description

Daily Operations/ VTR Administration, Education Staffing (Allocations and Casual) & Outside of School
Care Manager


Effective Date: Term 1, 2025
Main Objective:


CST Mhea Hneaagde orsf Education Operations is a key executive leadership position responsible for assisting the
Principals with the day-to-day education operations of Broughton, St Peters and St Peters Heart. The
Head of Education Operations ensures that the school’s education operations are aligned with its
Christian values, mission, and strategic objectives
FTE: Full Time (1.0 FTE)


Hours: 76 hours per fortnight


Salary: Negotiable


Staff Discount on Fees for children enrolled in Campbelltown Anglican Schools.

Duties include:



General
• Professionally representing CAS in personal presentation, mannerisms and Christ-like service


  • Operating with a high and consistent standard of service

  • Working within the CAS framework at all times

  • Participating in the Christian Life of CAS and participating in the wider life of the Campbelltown



Anglican Schools


Strategic Leadership
• Working closely with the Principals to develop and implement Campbelltown Anglican School’s



strategic plan.


  • Providing leadership and direction in the areas of Sport, Education Administration & Student



Services, VTR Administration, Education Staffing (Allocations and Casuals), Outside of Schools
Care and the daily operations of Broughton, St Peters and St Peters Heart.



  • Ensuring the operational readiness and efficiency of the school to support its educational mission

and Christian ethos.

  • Participating in executive decision-making processes and contribute to the overall direction of the

school.

Operational Efficiency
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for daily operations, ensuring



consistency and efficiency across all departments under direct report


  • Liaise with the Head of Central Services to introduce or optimise the use of technology to automate




repetitive tasks


  • Efficiently allocate resources, such as staff, facilities, and materials, to meet the needs of the school



without unnecessary waste.

Duties include:


Departmental Management
By providing multifaceted support, the Head of Education Operations will assist the Sport, Education
Administration & Student Services, VTR Administration/ Daily Operations, Education Staffing (Allocations
and Casuals) & Outside of Schools Care Services function more efficiently. This will include but is not
limited to:



  • Assisting each department under direct report in managing its budget, ensuring that funds are used

efficiently and aligned with the school’s overall financial strategy.

  • Supporting the professional development needs of staff in each department, working with

department heads to identify training opportunities and resources.

  • Fostering a culture of collaboration by facilitating communication and coordination between

departments, ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goals.

  • Liaising with the Head of Central Services to develop and implement crisis management plans,

ensuring that each department is prepared for emergencies and can respond effectively.

• This list of key responsibilities is not exhaustive and is subject to change with the changing needs


of CAS. There is an expectation that the Education Operations Manager will undertake other duties
from time to time as directed by the Executive Head or Executive Head’s delegate.

Selection Criteria:


The Head of Education Operations should have:


Christian Faith:
• A practising protestant Christian, active in service in their local Church


Personal Attributes:
• A strong commitment to the Christian faith and the ability to integrate faith into operational



leadership.


  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • A strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action.

  • A high level of integrity, ethical behavior, and professionalism.

  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style.

  • The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.




Experience and Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field (preferrable)


  • Supervisory and leadership experience, leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team
