About the Role


Are you passionate about optimizing technology to drive business success? We are looking for a dynamic and proactive System Analyst to manage and enhance our Lightspeed POS system across our café operations. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with internal users, oversee system functionality, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities (not limited to):




  • Engage with internal users to ensure the Lightspeed POS system meets their needs and integrates smoothly with daily operations.



  • Provide regular training and consultation sessions to Lightspeed and BI users.



  • Maintain the café systems' integrity and performance, overseeing data and change management processes.



  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring products and pricing on the purchasing system align with negotiated contracts.



  • Create a digitized view of café systems and develop a roadmap for future improvements.



  • Promptly resolve system and process issues while ensuring compliance with delegation and purchasing policies.



  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the POS system's functionality to improve operational efficiency.



  • Identify opportunities for innovation in revenue management, cost of sales, and inventory management.



  • Maximize the use of café systems, ensuring all functionalities are fully leveraged.



  • Assist the General Manager and F&B Managers with automating key KPI data from the POS system for daily, weekly, and monthly performance insights.



  • Provide commercial analysis to support the General Manager and F&B Managers in optimizing café performance.



Skills:




  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.



  • Strong experience with point of sales (POS) systems (Lightspeed preferred).



  • Technical skills in data analytics and systems management.



  • Proven project management experience, leading cross-departmental collaboration.



  • Ability to deliver system training and provide user feedback support.



  • Analytical mindset to assess systems, identify improvements, and drive innovation.



  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.



Qualifications and Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field.



  • Eight (8) or more years’ experience in commercial analyst, business analyst or systems management positions.



  • Proven experience building end to end process maps.



  • Proficiency in systems administration, with experience in system optimisation and process improvement initiatives
