Anglicare is seeking a dedicated Rostering Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will focus on creating a centralised roster planning structure, aligning with predetermined care minutes and the specific needs of each home.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage master rosters and ongoing, long- and short-term rosters within our rostering system.

Coordinate the rostering of new employees for inductions and buddy shifts in consultation with Operations Managers.

Oversee daily roster changes, ensuring fortnightly roster projections and publishing are in line with care minutes in consultation with Operations Managers.

Reallocate shifts and manage planned/unplanned leave in collaboration with Operations Managers. Homes will manage sick calls and shift changes within 48 hours.

Communicate updates and inform staff of shift allocations and replacements.

Ensure rosters comply with EA requirements, preparing payroll reporting for sign-off.

Process planned and unplanned leave, handling administration tasks related to rostering.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation and records.
About You:

Experience in rostering and administration, preferably in the aged care sector.

Previous experience with rostering practices and principles (desirable).

Proven ability to manage large teams through rostering technology and systems, ideally within community-based aged care.

Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.

Adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Exceptional time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
