About the role:
Anglicare is seeking a Scheduling Officer to join our Seniors Living team. You will be responsible for rostering staff with clients and ensuring accurate wages and allowance information is received by Payroll, according to agreed timeframes and are in line with the organisation’s strategy, Christian Mission, Vision and Values and operating requirements.
Permanent Full Time, working hours: Monday to Friday 10:30AM- 6:30PM
Job location: Currently Norwest Business Park, relocating to Macquarie Park in 2025
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
  • Address rostering related calls, e-mails, and any other communication in a professional and efficient manner to ensure and provide exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure that staff rosters are effectively documented, optimised, maintained and published to meet operational and client needs.
  • Ensure that staff rosters are administered so that all relevant documentation is completed and forward to Payroll for processing in an accurate and timely manner
  • Provide relevant information to the respective teams/individuals to ensure that all scheduling actions are completed to a high standard including timeliness and accuracy in line with processes and procedures.
About you:
  • Experience in systems and technology applications with particular focus on using rostering systems to roster large teams, preferably in a home care environment.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills Knowledge, understanding, previous experience in community based aged care services.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a dynamic team.
  • Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of staff and management. Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Proven skills in time management, multi-tasking, and prioritising, whilst working effectively in a multi-faceted team.
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships and demonstrated customer service skills.
