We are currently inviting applications for the position of Science Teacher. The position is a permanent, full-time role, starting in Term 1, 2025. There is potential for leadership opportunities within the role. The leadership role would be a 2-year appointment with potential for extension.
We are seeking a professional, dedicated, and dynamic Christian educator who holds a passion for developing the capacity of young children. The successful applicant will need to have the ability to teach Stages 4, 5 and 6 Science as required.
Applications should address the following criteria:
- Commitment to Christian ministry and demonstrated involvement in your local church
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and accreditation with NESA
- The ability to teach Stages 4, 5, 6 Science (Biology preferrable)
- A high standard of expertise and proficiency as a classroom teacher
- Proven ability to manage competing tasks and work collaboratively within a team
- Demonstrated confidence in the use of technology
- A current Working with Children Clearance for paid employment
- Referees who can provide insight into classroom practice and your Christian faith
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
