Reporting to the General Manager Finance - Seniors Living, the Senior Commercial Manager will lead the monthly reporting process and deliver key insights into performance across Seniors Living, while supporting the strategic direction of the business unit. Job location: Currently based in Norwest and relocating to Macquarie Park in February 2025.
Other key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Developing and mentoring a high-performing team of Senior Financial Analysts, fostering growth and collaboration while guiding operational staff in financial performance and decision-making.

Overseeing the preparation and enhancement of monthly financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs, providing actionable insights for senior leadership.

Driving continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining processes, conducting system reviews, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost recovery across Seniors Living.

Leading the business planning process, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and compliance with audits and financial submissions.

Partnering with key stakeholders to design and implement system improvements, enhance data visualisation, and contribute to organisational financial management strategies.
We are seeking an established leader with the following attributes:

CA/CPA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.

A minimum of five years' experience in a leadership role supporting commercial/business analysis.

Passionate about supporting people, driving insights and doing things better.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders.

Proven skills in problem-solving and implementing process improvements.

Experience in the Retirement Living, Home Care or Community Housing sector (desirable)
