As a Workplace Trainer you will be working in our Home Care department to play a crucial role in ensuring our staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to provide exceptional care. In this role you will require a valid driver’s licence as you will be travelling across Nepean Hawkesbury Upper and Lower mountains and neighbouring suburbs. You will be part of a team that values continuous improvement, professional development, and the promotion of our Christian vision, mission, and values.
Your Role:
  • Deliver Impactful Training: Organize and deliver approved training sessions, coaching and mentoring staff to ensure they meet learning outcomes and embody our values.
  • Comprehensive Induction: Ensure new employees receive thorough induction and orientation, setting them up for success from day one.
  • Maintain Compliance: Keep training records accurate and up-to-date, ensuring all staff maintain mandatory capabilities.
  • Accredited Training: Plan, deliver, and assess training in line with AQTF standards and our procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Act on feedback, suggest improvements, and stay current with industry standards to enhance our training programs.
  • Promote Safety: Foster a culture of safety by maintaining a clean and safe work environment and participating in safety activities.
About you:
  • Certificate III Aged Care Work (or equivalent), essential
  • Certificate IV Workplace Training & Assessment or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working with Older People
  • Experience with assessment validation to standards for an RTO
  • Influenza and Covid 19 vaccination strongly recommended
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence
