About the Role

Primary responsibilities are to:

  • Provide the academic staff with administrative support;
  • Coordinate administrative projects to ensure the smooth operation of the Schools;
  • Provide exceptional customer service to staff and students as the first point of contact for the Schools;
  • Maintain and update course and student information in the College learning management system (Moodle);
  • Support casual academic staffing allocations for the Schools for each study period;
  • Compile student academic information and submit reports for academic processes;
  • Provide secretarial services to various committees including document preparation and minute taking;
  • Serve as a team player and share best practice across student experience, system upkeep, organisation, and planning.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, applicants must address the selection criteria below and attach their response as a separate document in the

  • Committed Christian, involved in a local congregation;
  • Post-secondary qualification;
  • Administration and project management skills with previous work in a higher education environment is strongly preferred;
  • Experience in administration and/customer service;
  • Knowledge of a learning management system (such as Moodle) and database (such as Paradigm) is an advantage;
  • Technological literacy and a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a team player attitude;
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to multi-task prioritise and meet deadlines;
  • Must have acute attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work appropriately with students, faculty, and administrators,
  • independently as well as in a busy team environment.
