CAPA / Technologies Teacher

We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or new graduate within our Visual Arts and/or Technologies teams. Suitably qualified professionals who have an enthusiasm for and/or experience teaching Stage 4-6 Visual Arts and/or Technologies are invited to apply.......

This is a Maternity Leave position (Temporary 12 months, full time).

As our College is growing from 3 to 4 streams within Secondary, there is a possibility that this position may turn into a permanent position in 2026.

The successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Demonstrate enthusiasm for and/or experience in teaching Visual Arts and/or Technologies for the HSC
• Drive academic improvement in the area of literacy and numeracy from Years 7-12
• Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communications skills, and the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with staff, students and parents
• Work collaboratively within a team to lead in further development of the faculty
• Model, promote and represent the College's Vision, Mission and Values
• Contribute to the innovative educational direction that exists within the College
• Differentiate in the classroom and promote growth for each individual student
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum and assessment
• Implement digital literacy with regard to application of pedagogy
• Present appropriate tertiary qualifications, including teaching qualifications
• Assent to the College's Statement of Faith

NESA Accreditation and a current Working With Children Check is required.
