About You

As a Leader of Pastoral Care, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

  • show evidence of ongoing and previous significant leadership experience in pastoral care and student wellbeing
  • demonstrate experience in liaising with external agencies in supporting those students who require a high level of care
  • show experience of working in and contributing to a Leadership Team
  • create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach in one or more Key Learning Areas
  • work with staff in accordance with adult learning principles
  • work effectively to achieve sustained change and improvement
  • show highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff
  • employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:

  • a tertiary qualification in Education
  • eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
