ABOUT CLAREMONT

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Title: School Mini Bus Driver (25 Seater)

Location: Claremont College Randwick

Reporting to: The Principal or his delegate

Description: To transport our children to and from School Monday to Friday with the possibility of extra shifts to transport students to various activities during the day.

FTE: Part time 5 days a week – Term time only

Split shifts: 7:00am-9:00am and 2:30pm-4:30pm Monday – Friday

Preferred start date:Initial 6 months contract with continuation subject to review and determined by passenger numbers

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The following criteria would be expected of the successful applicant:

  • Current Class Light Rigid / MR Drivers License
  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 prior to employment at the School
  • Available for casual work at other times as required to transport student to excursions/sport
  • Reasonable level of fitness
  • Be flexible and cope with short notice or change of schedules
  • Provide safe and courteous transportation for students to and from the destination
  • Implement safety rules to ensure students have safe travel to their destination
  • Maintain order among students whilst being transported
  • Understanding of workplace safety
  • Ethically responsible and honest
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
