We offer a range of services including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services as well as a range of treatment types (including residential treatment centres, community-based support programs, counselling, and withdrawal management services).
William Booth House (WBH) is located on Gadigal lands in Surry Hills. It offers a withdrawal unit and residential rehabilitation. The services operate in a four-storey building with roof top courtyard, which is wheelchair accessible and easily accessible by all forms of public transport.
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Support Worker to welcome and support participants through the process of alcohol and other drug withdrawal and residential rehabilitation.
Reporting to the Senior Support Worker, this is a permanent, full-time position based at William Booth House in Surry Hills. Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the SCHADS award Level 3.
The successful applicant must be available to work shifts across a 24/7 roster including, Morning, Afternoon & Night.
