We are looking for energetic and compassionate teachers' aide/ learning support officer to contribute to the provision of quality educational experiences by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities for our more complex learners.

We have a term 4 contract available. If you are looking for an active role in a classroom setting to provide specific support to identified students in the implementation of learning support initiatives, this may be your next role. Working as an integral part of a well-resourced and qualified team of specialists, you will be provided with opportunities to collaborate and share your passions, talents, and enthusiasm of working with students and staff. The ideal candidate will be committedto excellence, demonstrate resilience and a positive attitude, be willing to work hard, be highly organised and flexible, and have a strong desire for fun. Working as aTeacher’s Aide in our Preparatory Schoolyou will also be actively involved in our wider School community.

This position offers the ideal opportunity to broaden your experience through involvement with open classroom learning, small group lessons for literacy and numeracy working within both the NSW curriculum and the International Baccalaureate – Primary Years Program (IB-PYP). The regular hours are 8-4pm Monday to Friday (term only) however there may be rareoccasionsto work outside of these hours.

Formal qualifications in learning support would be advantageous; however, the School has a strong focus on professional learning and will provide the required development for an outstanding candidates.

Successful candidates will have….

· Formal qualifications in classroom /learning support or related area

· First Aid and CPR certification
