Charlton Christian College is seeking committed Christian educators to join our pool of Casual Teachers. We welcome applicants across a range of subject areas and year levels (Years 5 - 12) who can step into our classrooms and contribute to the life of the College.

Charlton is a Christ-centred K–12 school located in Fassifern, on the western side of Lake Macquarie. Our mission is to equip students for life through quality education grounded in a Christian worldview.

About You

You are a qualified teacher with at least conditional accreditation with NESA, and a strong desire to contribute to a Christian learning environment. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • A personal commitment to the Christian faith, with active involvement in a local church
  • The ability to implement effective teaching and learning
  • A commitment to creating supportive and safe learning environments
  • Professional and respectful engagement with students, colleagues, and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups or subject areas
  • The capacity to integrate a Christian perspective throughout teaching and learning
